HTC Wildfire comes as a pleasant surprise from HTC Corporation to the users who were vying to get hold of an Android studded smartphone. It’s one of the affordable handhelds produced by HTC and made available in a mini candy bar package having sleek dimensions of 106.75 x 60.4 x 12.19 millimeters (H x W x D) just like the HTC Desire and counting only 118 grams in its overall weight.

HTC Wildfire is equipped with somewhat small but quite impressive 3.2 inch LCD capacitive touch screen producing a decent resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Also inscribed in it is a 5 megapixel autofocus camera having a LED flash and Geotagging facility making it stand par with other models at the higher end of the spectrum.

HTC Wildfire is driven by the Android operating system version 2.1, Éclair and is expected to have an upgrade of version 2.2 Froyo released for it soon. The best part of Wildfire is its ability to sync seamlessly with HTC Sense to provide an excellent user experience and to share applications via widget. And although it is riddled with some software upgrading issues, it definitely makes it to the list of desired items by the young and outgoing genre.
